Hello, hello!

It was an exciting week for The Wellness Trap, with a TV appearance and several other cool things happening. So in lieu of a regular Q&A this week, I wanted to share several places where you can see/hear me answer many great questions from thoughtful people:

  • First and foremost: I was interviewed about the book on live network television, namely CBS Mornings!!! 🎉 You can check out the clip here, and I'd love it if you shared with your networks and/or anyone you think might enjoy watching. More about the whole experience below!

  • I wrote a piece about the harms of "wellness" diets for Well + Good, and that came out last week, too! The article is based on original reporting that builds on some of the conversations I had for The Wellness Trap with other sources, so it's a great adjunct to the book.

  • I was featured on a great show from an Ohio NPR affiliate called All Sides with Ann Fisher, talking about how to avoid wellness scams. (It was later the same day as CBS Mornings, so that was a marathon day that my introverted brain needed the next several days to recover from!)

  • I discussed 5 key insights from the book for the Next Big Idea Club's "Book Bite" series. It's a good jumping-off point for anyone interested in learning more about the book, and also a huge honor to be included in the series alongside so many authors I admire.

  • Finally, I did a lovely interview for the Mary's Cup of Tea podcast (listen on Apple and Spotify), and the host and I continue our conversation in this week's episode of Rethinking Wellness (on which more shortly).

Now for a little BTS on CBS Mornings, if you're curious!
