Is there any science behind anti-inflammatory diets or foods? I was put on a strict anti-inflammatory diet years ago by a naturopath due to my psoriasis (it had no obviously beneficial effects, even after a couple years, and it has complicated my relationship with food to this day). But I was surprised to discover that even [a reputable health publishing company] has a pretty scary page discussing the dangers of “chronic inflammation” and the foods that fight it.
