This post is from my previous newsletter, Food Psych Weekly.

This week’s question is from a reader named Megan, who writes:

I have been on the anti-diet/intuitive eating train for almost a year now and it really has been life changing. Through this journey, I discovered that my vegan/vegetarian food choice was based mostly in disordered eating, and I have been working through that. As an animal lover and generally eco-conscious person, I do want to be vegan/vegetarian in a way that is not disordered. Is that even a possibility, or will I just be slipping back into disordered eating?
