Some links, and a few small hopes
Like many of you, I’m walking around in a fog today and don’t have much to offer beyond a few links and some very half-baked thoughts I won’t subject you to.
I will share just a few small hopes, which I write for myself as much as for you: I hope you’ll take care of yourself today, and in the days and weeks and years to come. I hope you’ll be gentle with yourself, even at a moment when gentleness might feel like a losing strategy. I hope you’ll have compassion for yourself even in your grief and rage. And I hope that eventually, these feelings will coalesce into fuel you can use to push back against the misinformation, division, and injustice that we know are about to reach new heights.
